A stated aim of the Green Party Manifesto is:"To amend the Firearms Act to prohibit the use and private ownership of firearms and lethal weapons, such as air rifles, crossbows, etc., except on registered premises."
That's admirably clear and helpful. Such clarity allows an immediate and equally clear response from my part: I shall be voting Green just as soon as hell freezes over.

They're kinda barmy. They mean well, but I'm afraid it's a very peculiar politics that they're advocating: we'll be 'encouraged' to limit the size of our families; consumption of meat (let alone going out and hunting for it, God Forbid!) will be 'discouraged'; fishing will be flat out banned, ditto hunting, etc, etc.
