My Gentoo penguin can beat up yer jaunty jackalope!
ReplyDeleteWell, I just popped in a Ubuntu CD and did a trial boot with no permanent setup. It instantly found <span style="text-decoration: underline;">and</span> installed the mobile broadband modem that's been bugging the hell out of me with windows - which I never expected it to do; I thought I'd be buggering around on the net for days and typing hellish strings of text into command-line boxes to get the thing going but no: bing, it's online. Based on this alone, I think I'd have to say that Mr. Jackelope is very impressive indeed.

I can't wait until I get my new hard drive and reinstall Ubuntu. I've got a couple dozen pictures I need to crop and post with Gimp.
